Am I the only one that finds the sound of women walking with high heels irritating?

I used to work in an office where I could hear an extremely loud pair of heels in the office above us. It would walk back and forth from one side of the office to the other ALL the time.

That said, it's not just women in heels that are annoying, it's pretty much anybody in heels.

Yea, I think so. The sound alerts you to the fact that a leggy hottie is approaching and you need to prepare.

Click-clack, click-clack, click-clack.

That noise? Yes, it's irritating.

I find that the the louder the heels are, shall we say, the less nice the woman is.

And the person wearing them always comes across as the prissy sort.

I always use that time to do push-ups.

Well yeah, heels just have that annoying clickety clack that pretty much serves as a Bitch Alert.

That is a very good point. I'm sure there is a mathematical equation for the relationship of the dB level of heels to general attractiveness.

oh, I was referring to her attitude. I just didn't want to use derogatory terms. Sometimes women in sharp hard heels are nice, but a lot of times they tend to be somewhat severe.

I see, and totally agree.

Misophonia (yes, it exists): That specific noise does not bother me; however, other noises like human folk chewing (eating) and teeth brushing drives me into a rage wherein I must leave the area immediately! Strangely odd, yeah, I realize that.

Loud chewing is annoying but the clicking of high heels just irritates the hell out of me.

I don't find your case strange at all.

The sound of heels in the auto shop was always enjoyed. Everyone would stop working to gawk at the female presence. You could always tell there was something to look at in the shop when it suddenly got quiet.

+1. I like all kinds of women, but the leggy ones usually catches my attention first. And clicking heels signal that most of the time.
